A free picnic in Carlisle Park. People are encouraged to bring their own picnic, however there will be various catering vans on site and a barbecue provided free of charge by Morpeth Churches Together. The themes this year draw on two centenaries: Women’s Suffrage and the End of World War I, with a Suffragette Tea Room in the Bowling Pavilion and WWI trench “over the top” training sessions.
Also featuring a climbing wall, bouncy castle, bowling demonstrations and taster sessions, a community art project, football coaching, guide dogs, medieval tile making, Morpeth electric bike company, NCT baby changing and feeding tent, Northumbria Community policigin with quad bike, old English falconry, pet grooming tips, table top sales, tennis taster sessions, toddlers' fitness coaching and a small animal petting area.
