Over two nights we will welcome two speakers to Wooler Youth Hostel to come and tell their stories of epic adventures in the Mountains around the globe.
On Friday 30th November at 7:30pm Andy Taylor will come and give his account of two ascents of the highest and most iconic mountain in the world, Everest.
On Saturday 1st December at 7:30pm We will welcome Roy May, who in 1977 as a member of Carlisle Mountineering Club travelled to the Kishtwar Himalayas to make the first ascent of an unnamed peak (20,970ft) to the north of Kiar Nullah and the first British ascent of "Sickle Moon" (21,570ft) both in the Kishtwar region.
