Born 1964, Robert had a career in engineering before pursuing his artistic talent. He studied Fine Art at Sunderland University and is currently living and working in Northumberland.
Taking time out of their busy festive schedule, Santa and his little helpers will be meeting and greeting children at Manor Walks Cramlington this festive season to find out what’s at the top of their list this Christmas - and asking their parents if they’ve been a good boy or girl!
Manor Walks Cramlington is inviting families to a fun filled festive day, to celebrate its Christmas light switch on featuring Britain’s Got Talent winner, Lost Voice Guy, and hosted by the lovely Heart FM breakfast show presenters Justin and Kelly.
To celebrate the bicentennial of the novel’s publication, Timeworks Theatre presents a new adaptation of Frankenstein, which evokes both the terror of the novel itself and key events in the life of the woman that spawned it – the stories of Victor Frankenstein, creator of a monster, and Mary Shelley, creator of one of the most celebrated horror stories of all time.
The Alnmouth Beer Festival, held at The Red Lion Inn, continues to attract scores of people from right across Northumberland and further afield and has become a set date in many diaries. With a full range of crowd-pleasing beers and ciders, prosecco bar and a great line-up of live music, the weekend attracts large numbers over the three day period!

A community choir and drummers will gather in front of the town’s beautiful Georgian Guildhall, singing a rousing selection of well-loved Berwick and Northumbrian songs and concluding with a specially commissioned celebratory fanfare on the newly restored ceremonial Fanfare Trumpets of the Kings Own Scottish Borderers.
Cheeseburn presents contemporary sculpture and artists projects in the elegant grounds of Cheeseburn Grange, Stamfordham; the exhibition programme for Great Northumberland 2018 showcases new work by emerging North-East artists and international delegations.
A free family fun day out with junior and adult 5 a side football, bouncy castles, fun fairs, stalls and a fully licensed bar. We have great raffle prizes including a signed Manchester United shirt, great tombola prizes and loads more!
Aln Valley Railway will be hosting their 4th Annual Model Railex at the Aln Valley Railway, in Alnwick.
On both days the event is open from 10.30am to 4.30pm, with Admission charged at
£10.00 Family 2 adults and 2 children
We are expecting Around 20 layouts, Plus modelling displays, trade and society stalls. There will also be Standard Gauge Steam Train Rides available on both days.

Judy’s work explores the theme of “stones and structures” with new original acrylic paintings especially for this show. Using this theme Judy explores further her work with abstracted geometries, emphasising the relationship between man made and natural structures of Northumberland. The subjects of these colourful and dynamic compositions include well-known landmarks interpreted in an individual and original style.
