What to Expect
Each Festive Saturday brings a welcoming mix of seasonal activity to the heart of Blyth. Wander through the Market Place and you’ll find local makers setting out their Christmas stalls, the smell of hot food drifting between them, and the gentle excitement of families stopping to meet real reindeer. The library buzzes with creativity as Mrs Claus leads children through festive crafts, while free face painting adds colour to the morning.
As you move through the town centre, live festive music from local buskers sets the mood, creating a relaxed soundtrack to explore. On Saturday 13 December, St Mary’s Church adds to the magic with a community nativity that brings people together in a warm celebration of the season. Alongside this, partners and local groups offer films, activities, and small surprises - making each Saturday feel a little different, and always worth returning to.
