Kicking off alongside the opening of the Market Pavilion - a state-of-the-art cinema and cultural venue located in the heart of Blyth’s revitalised Market Place - this celebration will shine a spotlight on the town’s vibrant community, rich heritage, and exciting future.

Discover the Magic of Myriad​
From Saturday 25 to Tuesday 28 October, Blyth Market Place was transformed by Myriad, the stunning Luminarium by Architects of Air. This inflatable labyrinth of light and colour offered a calming, otherworldly experience for all ages, delighting visitors with its beauty and wonder.
Created by internationally renowned artist Alan Parkinson, Myriad celebrated art, architecture, and light in the most joyful way - free to explore and unforgettable to remember.
Relive the Fun of October Half-Term in Blyth
Families and visitors enjoyed a week full of laughter, creativity, and spooky excitement this October, as part of Blyth Celebrates. From trying circus skills at Let’s Play to making masks and decorations at Halloween workshops, the festivities culminated in a vibrant community parade that brought the Market Place to life. Here’s a look back at an unforgettable half-term for all ages.

Blyth Celebrates is part of Energising Blyth, a £95 million regeneration programme to renew, grow and connect the town. It is being delivered by Northumberland County Council, funded by the UK Government, Northumberland County Council and North East Combined Authority, with support from other partners.
