From August 2025 to March 2026, Blyth town centre will come alive with a vibrant programme of free events, festival, live performances, hands-on activities and creative experiences for all ages - as part of Blyth Celebrates.

Whether you’re into music, movies, storytelling, street theatre, or spectacular fire gardens, there’s something just for you. It all begins this August with the Launch Weekend – a two-day celebration packed with live entertainment, workshops, and the unforgettable People Powered Parade, led by a life-sized, bicycle-powered Stephenson’s Rocket!

Blyth will burst into life with the Festival of Energy - a spectacular celebration of the town's place as a world leader in renewable power, advanced manufacturing, and bold ideas. Marking the finale of the official Blyth Celebrates programme, the town will come alive with performances, workshops, exhibitions, talks, and films - unlike anything Blyth has seen before. From big wow moments to hands-on fun, it's set to be a dazzling showcase you'll never forget.

and Museum of the Moon will be exhibited together in ORE Catapult’s extraordinary state of the art 100 metre offshore wind testing facility.
